How To Disassemble a Gate Valve?

Examine the gate, seats, stem, and other components for damage. Clean them using appropriate tools or materials. Remove the old packing from around the stem if replacing the packing material.

Place the gate back into the valve body, ensuring proper alignment. Reattach and secure the bonnet or packing gland. Place the handle back onto the valve stem and connect it with the appropriate fastening.
